Privacy Policy

This Policy describes how Clearsoft ME ("we"), the operator of the EasySQL product, collects, uses, and protects information from users of the easysql.net website and the app.easysql.net dashboard. We are committed to transparency and to compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law 13.709/2018).

1. Data we collect

1.1. Account data

When you create an account, we collect: your name, email, and — when you choose to subscribe to a paid plan — billing data processed directly by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers.

1.2. Database connection data

For EasySQL to work, you provide credentials to access your database (host, port, username, password). These credentials are:

  • Stored encrypted at rest (AES-256).
  • Used exclusively to run SELECT queries on your behalf.
  • Never shared with third parties.

We recommend creating a dedicated database user with read-only permission (GRANT SELECT).

1.3. Usage data (analytics)

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and uses no cookies nor collects personal data. We only collect aggregated metrics (visits, page views, country of origin).

2. How we use your data

  • Provide the EasySQL service (run queries and return answers).
  • Process payments and issue invoices.
  • Send transactional communications (invoices, security alerts, service changes).
  • Send marketing communications only with explicit consent.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to authority requests.

3. What we do NOT do with your data

  • We do not read the values from your tables — only the schema (column names and types).
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.
  • We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.
  • We do not run INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, or DROP.

4. Retention

Your database credentials are encrypted while your account is active. If you disconnect a database, its credentials are deleted within 24 hours. If you delete your account, all personal data and credentials are deleted within 30 days.

5. Your rights (LGPD)

You have the right to:

  • Confirmation of the existence of processing
  • Access to your data
  • Correction of incomplete or outdated data
  • Anonymization, blocking, or deletion
  • Portability
  • Revocation of consent

6. Security

We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your data: TLS 1.3 for all communication, encryption at rest, role-based access control, an audit log of all queries, and regular security tests. Learn more in our documentation.

8. Changes to this policy

Any changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance, by email and a visible notice in the dashboard.
